Pressure Belts
Since 2021, SRC has been delivering high-quality pressure belts for single facers. Engineered from Aramid fibers, SRC's belts present an innovative solution that effectively resolves the challenges posed by conventional wire mesh belts, such as bonding problems due to heat loss and reduced lifespan caused by belt width shrinkage.
The SRC pressure belt is composed of three layers—Aramid, Needled Felt, and Teflon Coating—allowing it to retain more heat than conventional wire-mesh belts. This design enhances bonding, boosts production speed, and reduces waste caused by bonding defects.
What truly sets the SRC pressure belt apart is its ability to maintain its width over time. Unlike other belts, it doesn’t shrink with use, ensuring consistent production at full paper width and delivering at least twice the lifespan of wire mesh belts.
As of September 5, 2024
SRC has supplied 119 pressure belts to 35 companies throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. The longest lifespan for a belt was achieved at two factories, totaling 53 million linear meters (or 170 million linear feet).
The good bonding quality significantly reduced waste and production speed has greatly improved
Maximum production speed improved up to 100 feet per minute
Enhanced Cardboard Quality
The superior bonding achieved with the SRC pressure belt directly results in higher-quality cardboard. Stronger bonds lead to sturdier, more reliable products that meet or exceed industry standards.
Waste Reduction
Better bonding greatly reduces production waste. The SRC pressure belt cuts down on defects and inconsistencies, making material use more efficient.
No Width Shrinkage - Longer Belt Life
Unlike other pressure belts, the SRC pressure belt keeps its full width for its entire life. This strength ensures steady production and increases the belt’s lifespan, offering long-term value.
Increased Production Speed
The SRC pressure belt allows for faster production speeds, leading to higher output and greater profits.
